Ashley Wood - World War Robot: 215.mm Edition
Today I’ll review one of the books of Ashely Wood, who is famous one of the two co-owners of threeA, a Hong Kong based company that develops and manufactures toys and figures. The Complete World War Robot, which is the bound volume of the first and the second volume of World War Robot series, was published, and the book I’m going to review today is an extra edition of the series, which contains new additional artworks and the contents of the Complete World War Robot.
Standard Book Size
Ashley Wood - World War Robot: 215.mm Edition is a hardcover book. It has 175 pages, and the size of it is 21.5 x 21.5 x 2cm.
Language & Contents
It was written in English, and although there are some comments for the artworks, those comments are kinds of explanations of the concept of WWR series, so you won’t need to translate those, if you only want to enjoy the artworks. Those would be helpful to you to understand the artworks more in detail though. Since there are no categories of the contents, there’s no table of contents.
Components
This book contains the war artworks, which feature the unique color of Ashley Woods, and those are mainly focused on robots and humans. Each of artworks is being contained in at least one or two pages, so you can enjoy the detailed parts of all of the artworks. The thing is that since this artbook contains exactly the same artworks of ‘Complete World War Robot’, it doesn’t matter to people who don’t have any of earlier volumes of the series, but people who already have any of those could really be disappointed with this book.
Concluding the review
Since this artbook contains the artworks of earlier volumes of WWR series and the new additional artworks, it might be worth to people who don’t have any of earlier volumes of the series. On the other hand, some people who already have any of earlier volumes of the series might really be disappointed with this book since it contains the same contents of the earlier volumes, so I think you don’t need to buy this book, if you are not eager to enjoy the new additional artworks of the series.
Note: Any comments about the grammatical errors, or any other minor errors in the reviews will be welcomed.
