The Review of OKAMARBLE COMPLETION
OKAMARBLE COMPLETION
The author of this is Okama, an illustration artist. Maybe some of you already knew about him through his artbooks, ‘Okamarble’, ‘Okamax’, and ‘Food Girls’, and the ‘Okamarble Completion’, which is a complete edition of the Okamarble and contains additional contents, was published.
Standard Book Size
Okamarble Completion is a paperback book. It has 159 pages, and the size of it is 20.8 x 25.8 x 1.6cm.
Language & Table of Contents
It was written in Japanese, and the portion of texts in this book is low since there are only explanations about an index of artworks, which is at the end of the book. The table of contents consists of three chapters, ‘Comic Flapper’ ‘Aquarian Age’, and ‘Other’, and mentioning about the Comic Flapper chapter, it has the same composition of the Okamable. One of big differences between this book and the Okamable is that this book has the Other chapter which consists of two types of illustrations: top illustrations from the author’s personal website and illustrations from the Monthly Newtype, one of the famous anime magazines published by Kadokawa Corp.
Comic Flapper+ See World (Original Short Story)
This chapter features the artworks in the some composition of the Okamable, one of earlier books of the author. Each artwork is being contained in each page of this chapter in color, and this chapter comprises half of pages of the book.
Aquarian Age
From this chapter, there are new additional artworks, which were not being contained in the earlier book, Okamarble. There are illustrations of Aquarian Age, a Japanese TCG, drawn by the author, and each page contains one to three illustrations in color.
Other
This chapter mainly features the top illustrations from the personal website of Okama, the author of this book, and there are more artworks in this chapter than the other chapters. There are rather more raw illustrations than complete illustrations.
Concluding the review
Today I’ve reviewed the Okamarble Completion. Although this book has some of the same contents of the Okamarble since it’s a complete edition of it, this book also contains new contents, so it shows us a plenty of artworks. Since this book was released after a long interval, this book might be worth to people who are interested in artworks of the author, Okama.
