Ha il kwon artbook
Ha Il-kwon is a Korean webtoon artist, who writes stories and draws cartoons. I think the reason that the author is popular enough to publish his own webtoons as serials is he draws webtoons of his own unique style and also he writes interesting stories to preoccupy readers in his webtoons, and this book contains illustrations of author’s completed webtoons, drawn from 2006 to the present time.
Standard Book Size
Ha il kwon artbook is a hardcover book. It has 216 pages, and the size of it is 20.3 x 26.8 x 2.3cm.
Language & Table of Contents
It was written in Korean, and there are comments about artworks of each of his works, so you might need to give an effort to translate those. The table of contents starts with an introduction, mainly consists of illustrations of seven webtoons, and ends with character sketches and the author’s profile.

Components
Every illustration of each of webtoons is being contained in order of release date, and there are two categories of illustrations, illustrations, which were once appeared in webtoons and exclusive illustrations, which are only being contained in this book. There are commentaries of the author between the webtoons; those consist of comments in one sentence, explanations and cutscenes that the author really liked, and a synopsis of webtoons. Since webtoons are the main contents of this book, most of the illustrations are mainly focused on backgrounds, especially on characters. Most of illustrations are in color except sketches at the latter part of the book. Since color saturations of illustrations in color are low, those might be looked like pastel arts.
Concluding the review
Today I’ve reviewed the Ha il kwon artbook. Since it’s the author’s very first artbook, you can enjoy a plenty of artworks of seven completed webtoons. As I mentioned above, the contents of this book consist of webtoons, focused on characters, so that’s why there are comments of the author between illustrations. Reading those comments will help you to understand the illustrations of each of seven webtoons. Even this artbook is a hardcover book and has a large volume of contents, but the price of this artbook is pretty cheap, so I believe that the author published this artbook as a sign of gratitude for his fans who have been reading his webtoons for 10 years. Therefore, if you are a fan of Ha Il-kwon, I recommend you to purchase this artbook, which is a reasonable price and has a plenty of artworks.
