CFSL.NET Artbook 05 by Café Salé
CFSL.NET Artbook 05 is an artbook, which contains plenty of artworks of artists, the members of French online art community website, ‘CFSL.NET’. This artbook was published by CFSL.INK, and so far the seventh volume of the series has been released.

CFSL.NET Artbook 05 is a paperback book. It has 301 pages and the size of it is 24.5 x 28.7 x 2.2cm.
Language & Contents
It was written in both French and English, and it consists of three categories, ‘Scene’, ‘Character’ and ‘Miscellaneous’. Unlike the first four artbooks of the series showed each of chapters next to the number of the pages, this time there are some words of authors in two pages before getting to each of chapters. At the end of the book, there’s a list of participating artists, and also there are email addresses and website addresses of each of artists.
Scene
This chapter features the artworks of ‘Directed Scene’. This chapter covers the not only the artworks of backgrounds but also the artworks of some characters, appeared on the scenes. Most of the artworks are digital drawings, and each of artworks is contained in the book with the information of its artist, title, drawing program, which was used for drawing it, and dates.
Character
This chapter mainly features the artworks of characters. Since this chapter comprises the most of the pages of the book, there are plenty of artworks of various styles.
Miscellaneous
This chapter comprises the least of the pages of the book, and contains the artworks, which exude different atmospheres from the artworks of other two chapters. The artworks in this chapter are more abstract than the artworks of the other two chapters.
Concluding the review
Today I’ve reviewed the CFSL.NET Artbook 05. I believe some people might be disappointed with this book since it shows a routine pattern just like the other artbooks of the series, although each of artbooks shows different artworks. Still, the artbooks of this series are still worth to purchase since those artbooks cover plenty of artworks of many French artists, and you can use those artworks as a reference to draw some creative artworks. Most of all, this artbook mainly features the artworks of characters, so this artbook series could be a good material for you to create your own styles of characters.
