The Review of Nineteen Days in World - 19 人用漫画记录下的九

The Review of Nineteen Days in World
19 人用漫画记录下的九

Today’s art book is a collection book of comics of 19 Chinese comic book artists. It was published in 2013. It’s pretty hard to find information about the book at the Korean website, so you have to search it at Google website and type it in Chinese to search information.

Participating artists

Standard Book Size

Nineteen Days in World is a paperback book. It has 157 pages, and the size of it is 17 x 23.9 x 1.4 cm.

The Table of Contents

The table of contents consists of names of each of 19 artists, and page numbers of comics for each. The thing is that the first comic, which is on page 3 to page 7, and the last comic, which is on page 152 to page 155 aren’t listed in the table of contents. Maybe it’s because the first comic substituted the introduction and the last comic substituted the epilogue of the book. When you read the first comic, you can see the horned character, and the character, who wears the rabbit mask. The horned character is a persona of the artist named “幕斯(Moss)”, who did edit this art book, and the rabbit mask one is the persona of the artist named “old先”.

Contents

It was written in Chinese. All profiles of artists and lines of comics were written in Chinese so if you want to read this book properly you have to translate the Chinese. 19 comic book artists did participated in this book, and they are all pro comic book artists, who are currently drawing the comics showing their own styles, so you can enjoy the 19 different styles of comics. However it’s a little bit shame that this art book lacks of contents, since it contains the comics of 19 artists in two to three pages for each in 157 pages.

Concluding the review

Although this book contains the comics of 19 Chinese comic book artists, it has a fewer pages than the other books, so the point of reading this book is just enjoying the 19 different styles of drawings of the comics. You can enjoy them more fun if you can read the Chinese, since the lines of comics were written in Chinese. Bottom line, this art book is worth to purchase, since it has the comics of Chinese comic book artists, which are hard to find in the other art books.
