Etrian Odyssey Untold series is a RPVG for the Nintendo 3DS by Atlus. This series is a remake of the Etrian Odyssey series, and so far two installments of the remake series have been released. This art book contains the contents of those two remakes.

It was written in Japanese, since it contain the contents of Japanese game. The table of list consists of five chapters, ‘Gallery’, ‘Character’, ‘Material’, ‘Animation’, and ‘Extra’. Each chapter has the artworks of contents of the two installments separately, so you might not confuse that which artworks are about the first installment, or the second installment of the remake series. The gallery chapter contains a few game images, and the character chapter has the most of the pages, which means that this art book shows many illustrations and sketches of characters many more than the other art books of the Etrian Odyssey series. The material chapter shows the images of classes, monster designs, backgrounds, and cooking designs. This chapter shows color images more than sketch images. The animation chapter contains the images of cinematic scenes, storyboards, key frames and concept art of the game. Lastly, the extra chapter contains the images and sketches of bonus comic, collaboration work, and SD characters.

The remarkable feature of this art book is it contains many more contents than the other art books of Etrian Odyssey series. Every chapter of the table of list shows high quality illustrations of the game, especially the character chapter do. Bottom line, this art book is worth to both fans of the Etrian Odyssey series, and people who need a good material to design the characters, since the character chapter shows the higher quality illustrations through this art book.
