The Review of The Art of DARKSIDERS
Darksiders is an action adventure game, which was
developed by Vigil Games, and published by THQ. The story of this game is about the four horsemen of the
apocalypse, and ‘war’ is a protagonist in this game. Joe Madureira, who is not only a famous
cartoonist but also a creative director of Darksiders participated in drawing the concept art of this game.
Standard Book Size
The Art of DARKSIDERS
was published as a paperback book. It has 288 pages, and the size of it is 28.5
x 21 x 2.3 cm.
Contents
Every word and sentence in this book is written in
English. It consists of illustrations of characters, creatures, boss creatures,
backgrounds, which have the most of the pages, weapons, items, game icons, some
CG images, and key visuals. There are colored illustrations and sketches, and there
are more
sketches than the colored illustrations. Each of parts
has notes explaining about them. This book shows many splendid illustrations to
readers. However, there’s one serious problem that this art book has is a lack
of bookbinding. When you keep reading this book, the cover page will be
starting to be apart. In the worst case, it might be completely apart from the
book.
Concluding the review
I want to recommend this art book to people, who are
interested in the four horsemen of the apocalypse, or like to appreciate the
art works of Joe Madureira.
